Human morality has nothing to do with religious teachings - the former exists with or without the latter. And far too often religious teachings end up being more of a justification for murder, or other immoral and abhorrent behavior, than a deterrent.
So if there is no such thing as a sin, then nothing can be one. You might as well say what's wrong with the occult is that it makes the Easter Bunny cry. The occult is no more or less outlandish than any major religion, and often people who are labeled occult are far less exclusionary and arrogant about the "rightness" of their beliefs, than members of Abrahamic religions.
The bible tells Christians that witches deserve to be put to death, regardless of the intentions or outcomes of their "magic."
