But then again, I wasn't expecting much from the Naked and Afraid guys. The yelling and charging around with torches was a bit much. And I REALLY wish they would quit making the military guy always want to "keep moving." They keep adjusting the "hippieness factor," so why not let the military guy tone it down a notch or two?
I found the episode to be fairly informative, but they are tending to re-use tricks like breaking the glass on a light bulb. We've seen that before. I would have been more inclined to just rip out some wire and run it to the battery and bridge it with a single strand of smaller wire to start a fire. Or since they had gasoline, just brush the wires together to make sparks.
One thing I liked was when the guy basically said "screw survival protocol, I'm drinking the river dry." Also liked the reference to urine that looked like a sports drink. I've been there.
Eating the raw fish as a little Bear Gryllish, but these guys are from Naked and Afraid, so I kind of expected that sort of behavior. LOL
The saga of getting my first novel on Kindle

They got my respect when they tackled that boar
Most people seem to think the boar was faked. Hanging around elephants and hippos that might charge you is pretty dangerous though.
