obviously behind label as "the movie" show from the start it was based on a serie. So yes i knew before watching it it was based on something. But i never head of the series, and believe it or not, this movie was just release in quebec a couple months ago even tough its 2011. I was at the video store to pick a movie i reserved (for when they sell extra copies) and saw that one in the racks I don't know for all long its been release but i didn't saw it last time i checked a couple months ago, so i presume not that long. I was pleasantly surprise at the dubbing, it was very decent, as i saw lots of teen comedies behind dubbed so badly it was awkward. (I am from quebec, i speak french).
The cover says better than the 4 american pie Yes clearly they got over there head with that quote. It wasn't as good as any of the 4 main american pie movies, even the third. Yet i tough it had some charm and was decent enough to give me a good little time. Got the movie for 10$, aint gonna resell it(i pretty much collect teen comedies) so it mean its good enough to have me keep it. So yes i did had a good time, did had fun, but it was not THAT great i saw way better movies, maybe its because i aint british, and american culture is closer to me than there, so i enjoy more the american comedies of frat boys and such But again at the same time, i LOVE a movie name COLLEGE wich pretty much is a carbon copy of that one, or this one is of that moviewhatever about 3 young guys that end up sleeping in a fraternity of douchebags and get pranked on all the time, yet still at the same interesting girls that they should not be.
I am curious to see the serie.. i doubt any french dubbing exist sadly, i can't stand the british accent its just over the top i am not a native english speakers, but i can understand pretty well american movies(yet i prefer a dubbed version) but british forget that, i rather watch a cantonese movie with subtitles..
I got a movie lately called The Descent, pretty average horror movie, i saw it many years ago renting it, kinda liked it at the time, picked the second one when it was on sale and i saw the first one in a pawshop i own over 700 movies, so well i said since i have the second one should pick the first. Ended up with a copy english onlyweird cause its dubbed i saw it couple years ago, but anyway i decided to still watch it in english ouch.. even for an horror movie where scenario aint that important damn i had trouble understanding the dialogue.
For your information i have a lot of trouble with french(from france) movies as well being french speaker still make it a little better but sometimes i can't even understand what they say with there bizarre expression and yet its supose to be the same language.
Anyway to get back on the movie, like i said, yeah its fun, i am intrigued to see the serie, but wow im surprie its so highly rated, especially for a teen comedy, and yet i saw better.
Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
