Title says it all really.
Will it get any Oscar nominations - it shouldn't.
But a fine foray into the weirdness that passes for top-of-the-line entertainment in real life.
Demi Moore, Dennis Quaid and Margaret Qualley all deserve a pat on the back for putting in great performances in an otherwise silly movie.
I liked it but it's only a MUST SEE for those who like things like Bad Taste, Evil Dead and Akira.
Lots of fun and plenty of insider jokes for the industry but ultimately not really git for purpose as a general movie audience piece.
It's no There Will Be Blood
You could read the phone book and we would be fine
As long as it was neither the Welsh phonebook or the Gaelic phonebook we'd be alright Anna
Anything outside of English names would be comical but at least I'd be able to say them

Well that's a very nice thing to say Anna but I assure you when I start ranting I'm sure that the last thing you want to be is around my voice
But it is a little boost towards perhaps thinking of sharing my thoughts in that way

Nah, it's a saturated market and I'd have to watch things that I wouldn't like just for the money that comes from it
But I enjoy watching some of them even if they watch stuff I wouldn't or miss points which I think are obvious.
There's enough fun going around for me to enjoy it. maybe if it stops I'd find a way to share myself to that market, but I don't think I want to ear the feedback from retards

Of course it went over the heads of the young and inexperienced. It might work well with them in a decade or two but for me it was just a rework of Weird Science but with a female/vanity centric air to it and was silly, and yet serious, enough to be flighty in how it should be received.
I liked it, but it's a one and done for me whereas Weird Science I can watch again and again.
The 'Pump It Up' show has free porn to go up against and so young bucks looking to get their distraction aren't as reliant on something as they used to be and all the young does are checking each other out on the very platforms you are talking about and are allowed (Sorry, but that's the way it's going these days) to be fat and unfit.
It was fun but I don't think it was anything but a tantrum from an older generation annoyed that it's no longer the younger.
Fun though

I'm cool with the ending. it was a great piece of real special effects and an overblown gorefest
And as an abstract it works beautifully.
But it's not a date night or regular cinema film and will only be recognised as great by those who enjoy neither.
