As things draw to a close here, I thought I'd go back to the place where I first realized what a uniquely strange place the IMDB message boards are even amongst all the weirdness of the internet. A whole forum specifically devoted to literally each and every movie you could imagine. And yet, the website that could accomplish such a feat couldn't be bothered to send one moderator to keep the Zero Dark Thirty board from being completely and hopelessly overrun by 9/11 truther conspiracy theory threads that didn't even attempt to discuss anything remotely related to the movie. I know policing a separate board for every movie in existence is probably impossible, but you would think they could at least monitor the boards for the 10 best picture nominees during the height of Oscar season. Oh well.
It's nice to know IMDB finally admitted to the world that its boards were a problem. Granted, they've decided that the solution is not to even attempt to clean them up but instead to burn the whole endeavor to the ground. Perhaps its for the best.
Anyways, to the topic at hand: I see that today most of the threads on this board are actually about the movie Zero Dark Thirty! Tremendous! Osama didn't work for the U.S.A. Osama Bin Laden was the leader of Al-Qaeda, a terrorist group. And it was terrorists from that group that did 9/11. No, not only an imbecile would think the airplane impacts would bring down the buildings. It has been explained that damage from the impacts plus fire brought them down. The fire was hot enough to weaken the steel enough that it failed. With that weight over the weakened steel, that is easy to see. WTC 7 was hit very badly by debris from the twin towers. Saying it wasn't hit by a single thing reveals you to be joking, or very ignorant. The damage from debris combined with fire that ignited in it was enough that it collapsed. The buildings collapsing from the damage is understood physics and you aren't dumb, and imbecile, or a fool for accepting that. And nobody was blown up in the lobbies or basement. I don't know if you believe that 9/11 was an inside job. But you are either a complete wacko or hugely ignorant if you think it was. I don't know what's on those youtube videos but I can almost gauruntee you it's all debunked 9/11 conspiracy claims. And the moon landings were real, in case you're a moon landings denier.
