I think the idea was that we should register Maya's statement, made to the SEAL, as rather impressive, but it just sounds crass. If any one person might be justified in saying it, I suppose it would be a President, but even then it would sound crass, and I can't see any President saying it (though Presidents have been known to say some pretty dumb things, it's true). Awful, dud line.

I hated the "Paki comms, No chatter" line.
Why would she being the one saying that? Did they leave out a scene where she got deputized as a SEAL? It just seemed so ridiculous that she'd be doing anything more than just listening in, as a courtesy, if even that.
