I think by now people watch because they like the general vibe of AHS, and seeing recurring actors in different roles. It's long lost it's "must see" value, but for those who like that sort of thing it's not a bad season.

I just finished this. Thought it was pretty decent. I’ve not seen any AHS for quite a while so I liked seeing the usual actors and the story was ok. Kind of gross at times but it was probably better than I was expecting it to be.

Often like that with long running series. It's not the same when core actors leave. The most palpable case for me is Peaky Blinders. First the funniest brother left, then Polly (the actress passed away ), and while it's definitely Cillian Murphy's show, it lost its heart.

I saw a little of the New York City one, but didn't stick with it. I think part of the appeal was the actors I grew attached to.

I wouldn't say they're must-watch tv, but that's just my taste. You might love them.
I like anthologies I give them all a shot.

I stopped at Appocalypse. It felt like a series finale. When the next season came, I was like oh another? I heard a lot of the OG actors left, so I just haven't gotten around to the rest.
