Has anybody seen the film Dark Water? The ending of the show was very similar to the ending of the film. I wonder if the riders were inspired by it.

I was just coming here to post this. I'm sure it was a nod to "Dark Water."
I've seen both versions, and the original was truly haunting. Something was lost in the American remake, but that seems to be the case with most foreign horror films that are Americanized, in my opinion. They lose their subtlety.

Seen both, the original is brilliant the ending with the building looming up behind the daughter is amazing work. I love a ghost story with real heart.

No, I've just seen the remake with Jennifer Connelly. I really enjoyed it. I would like to see the original. I didn't know there was one.

Yes, I've seen both the original Japanese film and the American remake. Both are very good movies, but I prefer the original. I actually randomly stubbled onto the original late night on tv on a foreign language channel, and was captivated. Love when that happens.
Have you seen both?

That would be writers. Can't edit with the IMDB app, which they should really fix.
