<p dir="auto">On tonight's episode they only mention Mason's death. So maybe Cricket and Elias dying was something they made up. If anything their deaths would be talked about more given how gruesome they were. Plus they don't believe anything actually happened, but that was murder, so they would think Matt and Sarah are killers as well.</p>

<p dir="auto">But presumably they were real people, right?   When Matt and Shelby talked about them in the TV show, wouldn't someone have looked into their disappearance?   The police?   Their friends or family members?  I would think that Sidney would have looked into them, if for no other reason than to verify Matt and Shelby's stories.    Cricket was apparently some well-known psychic medium that had worked with the FBI on missing persons cases.    Elias was a writer.   These weren't some homeless people that nobody would miss.</p>

<p dir="auto">There was never bodies found for Cricket or Elias, so as far as the law is concerned it didn't actually happen.</p>
