So. Piggy Man. So far, I think he's been seen in every episode, if I'm not mistaken. He's also the character that in my opinion is the most mysterious. Who is/was he? Why does he keep showing up? What actor is under that pig head?
My guess is that it's Finn Whitrock. And I am more curious about him than ever, since he keeps showing up over and over again, and we've now apparently seen him actually kill someone. I'm really hoping somehow that they are going to use this character to tie this season back to season one well and good. Otherwise what's the point?

Lol! It would change things dramatically if it was a guy in a chicken suit instead.

Cows and chickens would actually be funny!

I'm thinking that's a resource the Pilgrims had on the land.
The pig noises are unnerving, in part because they sound partially human. Cows or chickens wouldn't be as unsettling.

He certainly scared the crap out of me tonight, that's for sure. I still think there is going to be something morethere's too much pig in this seasonit's got to mean something. Why pigs? Piggy Man was featured in Murder House. Looks like the same Piggy Man in this season. Gaga witch feeds a beating pig's heart to Thomasin and turns her into the butcher. Piggy Man gets burned at the steak by the Butcher. Piggy Man keeps popping up randomly. Feral hillbilly kids suckling a big sow. Mutilated pigs keep showing up over and over. Squealing pigs heard when something scary is about to happen. Piggy Man seems to actually kill someone in the last episode. Pigs Pigs Pigs.
Other than somehow using the Piggy Man to tie this season back to season one, is the way the characters keep seeing the Piggy Man's reflection in the mirrors. Not only did they show that in the reenactments several times, but it also happened in episode 6 when Sarah's character got out of the shower and looked in the mirror. He also seems to show up in the bathroom.
I also keep thinking back to the Bible when Jesus drove the demons out and they went into the pigs. Random, I knowbut it keeps popping into my head every time the pigs or the PIggy Man come into play.

I think it's just a scary figure. He's deformed, covered in blood. I'm annoyed with it, they keep have him popping up for a cheap jump scare.
We saw he was someone who was a traitor to the Butcher so she had the pig head slipped over his head and then he was burned.
He's like Bastion from Coven with his bull headit's scarier than a normal person.
