I was on a bus and overheard 2 guys further up having a discussion about a movies about Everest and one of them said the best movie about Everest is %$#$*@5 blah blah and i think the word Everest wasn't part of the title but im not ruling it out as im not positive so i couldn't here what he said so i looked up Everest anyway on IMDB thought maybe i could get a lead but there doesnt seem to be many movies and most of them where series so anyone recommend what it could possibly of been

Into Thin Air comes to mind, since Everest isn't in the title. Although the film is mediocre. I'd recommend the book without reservation, however.
The person you heard could have mentioned a non-Everest film (Touching the Void) or who knows what his tastes were anyway. Everest got good marks although I haven't seen it. I did see Meru recently (non-Everest) - also recommended.
