Shows like the Shield are pretty similar

Depends on what you mean by "like this". I can name a number og good cop-movies. But one very similar to this is hard to think of. The closest thing I've seen is the TV-Show Southland.
But I can recommend a few good cop-movies.
Dark Blue with Kurt Russel - Set during the time of the post-Rodney King riots.
L.A. Confidential with Guy Pierce and Russel Crowe - Set in the 50's.
Street Kings with Keanu Reeves - Same writer and director as End of Watch
Cop Land with Stallone - He plays a Sheriff battling corrupt cops in New Jersey.
All of these deal with corrupt cops though, not street crime like End of Watch.
Like stated, the closest thing would be the show Southland.
