So there’s this big hullabaloo, shaggy dog story about a supposed “rat” that is never resolved. Not that it mattered anyway. Then there’s a subplot about Bruce Wayne’s parents being involved with the mob, but it doesn’t really go anywhere.
Then crazy guy plants a bunch of convenient car bombs that flood the city, making it obvious that the city engineers suck and is overall a really convenient plot point. They also want to kill the electoral-candidate because: reasons.
So Batman has an epiphany that he is inspiring evil people, so he decides to instead inspire “hope” by helping a wounded girl to a medevac. Nothing else is elaborated on how he intends to inspire “hope.”
Then the movie ends.
I feel like a 10 year old could write a better screenplay than this, lmao
