I agree. The world of The Sandman is so vast and rich that trying to do it justice with just one movie would be next to impossible. But if someone like HBO got ahold of it, they could do an entire season alone on Preludes and Nocturnes.<br />

<p dir="auto">Nice to hear someone in Hollywood has some brainsand the guts to act on them, too!<br />
Sandman definitely needs to be done serially; the comics were always as much about the supporting and the one-off characters as it was the main character. If it can't be done for cable somehow, then just don't do it.<br />
