<p dir="auto">is it was written and directed by a Welshman born in Merthyr Tydfil - that would be an interesting story.<br />
The film itself is a fast paced but repetitive cops vs baddies (&amp; corrupt cop) as they storm the stronghold. It's very bloody and the chop-socky is fast - if that is what you watch the film for - but for me it is just about an OK film and I won't be bothering with the sequel.<br />
I was going to suggest that one day Iko Uwais would be offered Hollywood parts to fill the gap left by Jet Li - then I looked at his credits and see he's already cast for Expendable 4 (so that's me then - late again).<br />
I have always depended on the kindness of Strangers - and the bastards let me down!</p>
