Dreamcatcher and IT both take place in Derry. Insomnia never got an adaptation, but that also takes place in Derry. The books are even more interconnected.

I take it that you mean "connected" by utilizing some of the same characters.

I read them before I ever saw them. Perhaps that's why the details stand out a bit more to me

It was the Juniper Hill Asylum mention that got me thinking about Needful Things and The Dark Half, the rest of the connections came out from that one

I'm talking about this little IT universe that's being built. So far, it appears to be directly connected to The Shining and Doctor Sleep. IT too, obviously.
The Castle Rock show had things mentioned in other works, but was a standalone. Season 2 was an origin story for Anne Wilkes, but was set in the present, making it impossible to be a prequel to Misery. It was trying to start a new cinematic universe.

I'm not sure about shows or movies but Needful Things, The Dark Half, Gerald's Game, The Sun Dog, The Body/Stand By Me, Cujo and Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption are all in the same universe
I think Carrie, Dolores Claiborne, Pet Sematary, Tommyknockers and a few other of his stories (Secret Window and ones like that) are also set in that same universe.
But he has other worlds where things happen. Just his spooky Castle Rock ones seem to be all in the same space and time
