Cats need toys and for owners to interact and play with them. This satisfies their natural instinct for hunting.

Need one more litterbox per cats in the household (1 cat - 2 litterboxes, 2 cats - 3 litterboxes, etc)

Cats need to explore vertical space, so install shelves so they can climb and have perches.

Feed multiple cats in separate bowls, and in separate rooms/areas if they are not getting along.

Walk active cats on a leash. Buy a cat wheel for savannah cats.
Please add more

Don't feed cats people food; milk also can give cats diarrhea

Cats feed off human emotion, so if you're worked up over something, your cat will pick up on this & act accordingly

Cats are unique; what works for one won't necessarily work for another, & don't compare your present cat to a former one

Always spay/neuter

Build an enclosed outdoor area if possible

Provide a variety of things to scratch
