Because Greg Yaitanes who I know from my all-time favorite show House MD (I follow several members of the cast and crew to their new projects), is one of the directors and producers there, too. He told about his new show Banshee on Twitter, I decided to check it out and got hooked.
That Ivana Milicevic who I got to know and love in the House MD episode House's Head is a member of the cast on Banshee is an additional bonus.

I went to youtube to watch some movie fight scenes. I fell down the rabbit hole watching the next suggested video. The prison fight scene for Banshee came up. I had to look it up and ended up binge watching it.

I have HBO Nordic I decided to give every series on there a change so I started a lot of series up after the other.
dropped a lot of shows pretty fast
but then I started banshee up and was immediately happy.

A friend of mine wouldnt leave me alone for months she kept texting me "banshee, holy beep banshee is Bantsheeet crazy! You need to watch!" I finally did and Binged all 4 seasons just after the finale aired kast week! Crazy amazing show!!!

I stumbled across some of the fights on YouTube and wanted to know what the show was about.

Had/have Cinemax on DirecTV. Saw it when it debuted.

I was looking for something new to watch during the mid-season break and just decided to take the plunge because I need a distraction from my Uni project at the time.

I'm Spaniard and a Spanish tv series blog mentioned Banshee in a post about midseason premieres (in 2013).
I watched all the episodes that had aired in a couple of days (S1 1-8) and I was totally hooked on Banshee by the season finale.

Someone recommended it to me so I checked it out.

I used to watch Strike Back on Cinemax and saw an ad for this new show called Banshee. It intrigued me enough to tune in. I was hooked from the first ep!

Dexter was pretty good, too - at least, first five seasons. Also I'm going to check Justified - some Banshee fans recommended it to me. And first episode of Outcast (Cinemax) was not bad - I think I'll keep watching.

I didn't watch True Blood. Only the first episode. I was not much attracted to it, but perhaps I need to give it another try and watch a few more episodes. Liked the intro music though with its weird video.
I follow Homeland too.
The wire and Oz are now on my to watch list.

My favourite is The Wire of course. I also liked Oz and Homeland. And I watch The Americans, too. Did you watch True Blood? I don't like this whole vampire theme, but since Alan Ball chose to do this show himself (cos he liked the books) I think maybe I'll still check it out some day.

Next to Banshee I also enjoyed Six Feet Under and also love The Americans and Breaking Bad.

I'm a big fan of Six Feet Under, so I decided to check out Banshee because Alan Ball was an executive producer, and I wasn't disappointed. BTW I showed a few episodes to my neighbour, who is a Russian traffic cop, and he was hooked immediately)

Bored > Nothing else to watch > start watching Banshee > Hooked > Loved it until finale
