Many surprises throughout movie
Thought the characters were pretty believable
I really liked the ending, a lot
Not everything in life gets neatly wrapped up
Viewer is open to deciding on their own where the characters go from here
I figure the old lady didn't want to be open and honest enough with the young woman, about having a daughter, perhaps too painful to share with someone, so she kept it secret. Once old lady knew young woman had been keeping a secret (10 grand $), well now they both had a secret.
I figure they do go to Paris, and share all their secrets.
I also got impression old woman wasn't sure she was coming back. Anyone else get that idea? She seemed to linger in the garden, like it might be her last look at it.
