Why are they making it? Just because? Are they reviving one of the sequels that was cancelled? Sounds like a cash grab but one where they are overestimating the amount of cash available to be grabbed. The original did well but wasn't a blockbuster and I don't think it has endured over the years as a popular movie. Nobody was clamoring for another Beetlejuice. There have been 35 years of people being born who don't know what it is.
