i just watched this and it really bothers me. the entire plot of "national anthem" basically failed the moment a man's hairy finger was forced through a tiny woman's ring and taken seriously.
not to mention that i find the entire plot laughable. maybe not the plot but the fact that he would go through with it.

That had to have been intentional. It was clearly a man's finger. I think part of the point is that they had no time for analysis - they were being pushed into taking action.
