that Nosedive is basically the exact same plot as S5 EP8 of Community in which students rate each other based on interactions on a beta app called "MeowMeowBeanz"? They literally have restricted access zones to people below a certain number and the "5s" host a talent show so that those of lower ratings can have people of higher ratings give them high scores.
