The 5th Wave has cult classic status in my books. I remember it fondly, because it was played on late-night syndication over here and I was watching it when I was still a schoolboy.
Fun facts:
*I still refer to the guy playing Joshya in the 5th Wave as Joshua, don't recall the actor's name but he has played in a ton of shows after this one. For me he's Joshua 😄
*I had met a guy looking very, very, very much like Crazy Eddie in Athens, Greece. I had told him about the series back then but he didn't watch it. It was unreal, they could had been twins!

It reminded me of an episode of the Outer Limits (1995) episode where two opposing sides took drugs that made the other side look like aliens.
