Those kids should have done time in juvenile detention for a couple of years. The disgusting Ethan was smirking at his 'fans', like he was a hero.

I loved the ending because it didn't go hard on the kids like I expected it to.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

It is not unrealistic though. The juvenile justice system is set in a way that focuses on rehabilitation as more likely than it is with adults. So because of that, juvenile sentences are generally MUCH lighter than they would be as adults.
As such, minors often get lesser sentences. Many times the crimes will not appear on their records as adults. Most often, their names are not released to the media. It's all based on the concept that minors can rehabilitate better than adults.
And I'm not making a moral judgment on this one way or the other. I am simply reporting it as it is.

Yes, Ethan is clearly not done being a menace to society. Twisted little beep
I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.

Sadly, they are wealthy, white, and male. No way would they be sent to Juvenile detention.

Yeah I agree. I think they would have likely received juvie time just for the breaking and entering. Also Ethan had a gun when he broke in which would add to the offense. I know the one kid was wealthy so maybe that helped them out?
