<p dir="auto">There was no camera in the basement. What they did was plant a microphone right outside of the door (when the water can fell over and he almost got caught) so they could hear what was being said between him and the cop. Because if you remember earlier in the movie, they cannot hear in the foyer because there was no mic in there.</p>

<p dir="auto">I don't think they had a camera down there I believe that was a theatrical view, not the view of a fixed camera that the two boys put there.</p>
