She killed herself because she realizes Samantha her girlfriend died. There was no more incentive in her to go on living.

They show Samantha wearing just her Bra, that is before they enter the forest, they changed their normal clothes to the neon suits.
They also show some flashbacks while also showing the village kids wearing the skin with tattoo.

I thought it was self evident that they were Samantha's tattoos. Didn't the flashback even show the tattoos on her body before the kids were playing with them?

Me too; I thought the tattoos were from Jonah. After reading someone point out that it was Samanthas tattoos, Amys suicide made much more sense.
I also tought they were Jonah's tattoos, and I even tought that the cup whith which she slit her throat might have been his scalp But now it makes more sense. I think there was not enough emphasys put on the fact that the Samantha had any tattoos in the first place, but I may be wrong Still I don't recall such scene, her showing off her tattoos.

Oh no. I didn't catch that. I didn't understand what triggered the blonde girl to slit her own throat. I figured she realized there was no hope of getting out alive, but I didn't know why she thought that. Thank you.

Before the blond girl slits her own throat she sees a familiar tattooed piece of skin at the bottom of her bowl and looks up to see various children trying on pieces of Samantha's skin where it was tattooed. There is even a flashback showing Samantha's tattoo that is at the bottom of her bowl.
