After the explosion Amy goes into the little podship and is brought inside the ship to find Abbott and Costello are actually the hands of a giant alien.
It picks her up and eats her.
Cue CGI battles as earf takes on the giant aliens in an explosive all action ending reminiscent of Independence Day
