<p dir="auto">I will not have to cry reading another hatefull comment against great movies.<br />
More and more as I read through the boards I feel such sorrow when I realise people trash masterpieces simply because  they lack empathy.<br />
You can argue that Arrival is not 10 but 8 or 9.<br />
But saying it is <em>beep</em> or worst than Marvel movies?<br />
You are lacking patience.<br />
This was such a briliantly patched movie building slowly to a great reveal.<br />
If you didnt get it I really have no other explanation than - you are lacking. Maybe in 20 years it will became canon like 2001. I still find it slow at moments. But boy - it does convey a message.<br />
But without a receptor for it  - you only see slow pace.<br />
And it is SUCH A LOSS i really do cry. Because every chance for empathy and connection is precious.</p>
