I just saw the movie, and a lot of things remained me Slaughterhouse Five:
-The aliens have some resemblance to the tralfamadorians
-The aliens' writing reminded me about the writing used by aliens in that book
-The aliens in the movie see in 4 dimension (space and time) just like the tralfamadorians
-The main character bounce in time just like Billy Pilgrim
-They landed in Montana, the character kidnaped by the aliens in the book is called Montana Wildhack
What do you think about it???
