It's a great film. Based on the commentary here at IMDb, you'd think this was the worst movie in the history of cinema Too many trolls and wanna be debators. The movie is in my top 3-5 sci-fi films of all time. In line with 2001, Contact, Close Encounters, Oblivion, Solaris and Interstellar.
