<p dir="auto">to tell Ian that their daughter was going to die?<br />
She could have told him before they got married so that he'd know what he was getting into.<br />
Or she could have NEVER told him what was coming at all. That way he wouldn't have divorced her and her daughter could have spent her entire childhood in a two-parent household.<br />
Instead, she gives him this unnecessary knowledge of the future and wrecks her family for no reason.</p>

<p dir="auto">Feh, I'd try to prevent the cancer and see if the resulting paradox really did blow up the universe or if multiverse theory was a thing.<br />
One way or another, I'd get the truth!<br />
And it would only risk the existence of the universe!  Which is a perfectly acceptable trade off.<br />
I mean, what did the universe ever do for me!  Damned stupid universe.</p>
