I know these aliens seem friendly in a way but is their any. Action scenes like that? I haven't seen it but I will I just want to know ,to see if I should take a friend,if the movie is all talk I know I will enjoy it but my friend won't lol

Not really, it's not that kind of movie. This is not some more adult ID4 so don't go in expecting that or you'll be disappointed.

I don't remember any threatening behavior from the aliens. The threat is not being able to communicate with them or someone (China) attacking them and losing some gift they want to give us. I think, I'm still a little confused by it. They never hurt anyone.

There's some dialogue like that and a bit of peril. The tone in the first act is a bit intense, but it's not violent per se.
