I think it's very hard to guess how a movie will replay. I've often been surprised by second viewings, in both directions.
And I essentially saw half the movie for the second time already, since I had read the story; all the geopolitical stuff was fresh to me, but everything about Louise's life and the aliens and their language was familiar. And it was tremendously effective.

Agree. The movie is very deep. I just didn't feel it has the replay value needed to get a perfect score.

The thing is,
Arrival
is about ten times as thought-provoking as the other three put together. It's a serious contender for the most thought-provoking film in sci-fi history. And I mean "thought-provoking" very literally; there's not much about
free will
in the film, but if you start to ask questions like
"why do the heptapods consider their language a gift?,"
you immediately get into such questions.
Your ranking will depend on how much you value that. I'd put it first.

interstellar made me cry out of frustration, it was so close to perfection but a few things marred it
