Emmy winner Kyle Chandler is in negotiations to star in Lanterns, HBO‘s high-profile series based on the Green Lantern DC comic, sources tell Deadline.
No one is commenting, but I hear Chandler is poised to play Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern character that was played by Ryan Reynolds in the 2011 movie.
Chandler, an Emmy winner for his signature role on Friday Night Lights, also starred in Bloodline, Catch-22 and Super Pumped. In features, he will next be seen in Back in Action and Anniversary. He is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
