Well, it’s official, and James Gunn’s DC Studios plan is slowly moving forward. Today, HBO and Max confirmed that it’s picked up an eight-episode Green Lantern series for a season one pick-up. The series comes from Emmy-nominee Chris Mundy will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Emmy-winner Damon Lindelof (HBO’s “Watchmen” and “The Leftovers”) and Eisner Award winner Tom King will co-write the new series with Mundy.</p>
