Watched this tonight. The cast was great and Eastwood is experienced enough to make the best of a lousy script. But, holy **** did this need to be rewritten! Such a great premise and it's mostly wasted
Had I written it, J. K. Simmons wouldn't have simply disappeared midway through the movie. After being dismissed from the jury, he would have continued to pursue the case and there are a few possible directions it could have gone in from there, any of them better than what we got.
