It may have been star trek or some other sci-fi show, but I remember the premise was these people fight a pointless war as every day the wounded people are healed and dead brought back to life. Anyone remember what it was?

Lol so it was more than one. Yes I think it was the Deep Space Nine one that stayed in my mind. I haven't seen the original series one, that will be cool to watch. Thanks.

It was also the premise of an original
Star Trek
third-season episode called
Day of the Dove
, with Michael Ansara. An alien that feeds off violence imprisons equal numbers of Klingons with the Enterprise crew on a runaway Enterprise, inflaming their emotions and making them fight with swords. No matter how badly wounded or killed they're healed and return to fight.
The
Deep Space Nine
episode is a copy of this basic theme.
