No one is even mentioning that ultimate cut any more not even around here. It goes to show that the movie we all hated in theatres will be the one forever judged.

My 10 year old niece loves King Arthur and all those stories.

How many 10 year olds would be familiar with the Arthur legends, or have seen 'Excalibur'?

The articles on the Razzie home page about how bad BvS turned out are priceless.

Three weeks later and this still makes me laugh because it's so very true.

Saying these characters are shallow and on a level for children is kind of obvious at this point. The writing is as juvenile as any movie that's ever made this amount of money.

This point can't be stressed enough. A movie this bleak and this grim can't be combined with a plot, motivation and characters that are written at a fifth grade level. It's the worst combination possible.

My personal take on
The Winter Soldier
is it's slightly overrated but that's only because of Black Widow. I think ScarJo is a very bland actress (her monotone line deliveries annoy me to no end) and her being BW is just horrible. If another (read: better, and more suited to the role) actress were playing the part it would be higher on my meter.

Why it takes a ten year old mentality to enjoy this movie? Well, when a film drags for three hours yet can't develop one single character, then you know the script had issues and it's not written with adults in mind. Not one character has any depth AT ALL yet the film is action lite. That's a tough combination to pull off even if you tried.

How many ten year olds can sit through the first hour of the film? Whether it succeeded in doing so is up for debate, but for the most part, the movie seems to be made with TDK's fans in mind. A movie made for ten year olds would

1. be shorter
2. have less talking and more fighting/explosions
3. have longer fights
4. be more colorful

Here you go. Exactly what I was talking about and this comes from a impartial reviewer.
Every single critic even the lowly percentage that gave BvS a passing grade all agree that the movie is shallow, underdeveloped and a jumbled mess. The dumber you are, the more you enjoyed this movie.

This is a convoluted mess that has received unwarranted praise from just the fans. I guess threatening Critics does pay off 28% of the time for certain fan bases. This is a bad precedent as we are sure to see more death threats in the future for those daring to stand against a DC movie. At least this guy wasn't intimidated.
