I repeat the question I have been asking the OP,and he dodges answering:
If Warners is so happy with the way the DCU is performing, why did they make the massive shake ups last year after BVS opened?

that's pretty bad to be honest, 2 marvel films in age of ultron and avengers grossed over 3 billion, another DCEU failure

"So what?"
Well, the rest of your post pretty much answers the 'so what?'
They took a risk in not making these movies simple, formulaic and safe. If they had, the BO would probably have been significantly higher - like a good 50% higher or more. Not only that, but they would have had a solid foundation from which to branch out and take risks and an audience more willing to 'forgive' them, should those risks not panned out.
All they had to do was not suck and they would have had 3 x $1B movies.

So what ? This is just my opinion but I would rather them just put out some good movies the last two transformers movies both went over a billion by themselves and the other two well over three quarters of a billion worldwide see what I,m getting at ?
Two thirds of man of steel was decent I thought I had some issues with it but I liked the take for the most part until the dumbfounding dull last third , the sad thing is imo it's still the best movie from this D.C. Universe .
Batman vs superman I will admit has some fine passages and it looks beautiful but it's dull , sombre., and grim to the point of nausea and structurally it was a mess , and there can be no excuse for that .
The less said about ss the better oh it looked like D.C. We're finally going to have some fun with their characters , who by the way I think are far more interesting than their marvel counterparts , but oh my good was it boring easily the worst and stupidest movie in a universe which I am starting to think it's creators have no implementation or direction as to where to go with it.
Don't even get me started and the flash and the batman fiascos My advice to them would be slow down and just focus on putting out a product that you can work with i.e. One that doesn't. Suck , marvel have been doing this for years when they are good they are very good but most of their output at least imo has been just decent which is fine with very few out and out stinkers and that's why people trust the brand more than most .

Problem is, it should have been closer to $3 billion or more
