Yeah, this thread is pretty sad as you see the fanatics start to face reality and as their claims have been humbled before, drop them to more realistic and actually hard NOT to attain goals.
The only way this could have sunk any lower was a thread about "DCEU WILL release a movie in the future, suck it haters"

See, I wouldn't be bragging about that. I thought, given how one IS Justice League, they were hoping for 3 billion in 2017. Not overly realistic, but if WW were to be the one to make a billion plus, not totally insane.just mostly.
This? 5 movies, 3 of which featuring Batman (the old bread and butter) and one of them being their Avengers.and 3 billion is something to think people will be upset about? I'll be depressed if they only crack 3 billion.

The whole run of DCEU movies now they're hoping it finally breaks $3b. They've had threads bragging about how the dceu has broke $2b in 3 films (Which isn't even accurate if you deduct Production, advertising and theater cuts the dceu will be lucky to have made $1b)
the fanatics have come a long way since "This next dceu movie will be the tidal wave that breaks $1.5b and crushes the mceu"
Now they've lowered the bar to "these next 2 dceu films should make at least a half bil apiece" (And that's including Justice League, Their "Avengers")
They've really lowered their expectations. I call that progress.

Considering that Wonder Woman & JLA only have to do less than 1 billion at the World box office to give the DCEU the 3b total. I think it's a pretty safe bet that those 2 films can easily reach that. Even if they are rancid piles of poop.
The real question is if both WW & JL fail to please fans & critics is when we will see another DC property on the Big Screen. WW is perhaps the last great hope for the DCEU. As Affleck's comments the other week & rumors from the JL set do not paint that production in a positive light.

If the movies are GOOD, I'll be thrilled.

It wont effect them. However here is a question even when the DCEU reaches 3 billion in the box office how will that improve the quality of Batman V Superman or Suicide Squad? Honest question.

Who cares? It's obvious that a Justice League will make pretty good money. What matters is how good the film is.
If you can't defend a movie without bashing another, you will be put on ignore. No exceptions.
