Sure, the show looks a little bit goofy but in this scene Tyler Hoechlin gives a good performance as a lighter hearted Superman without coming off as a Christopher Reeve rip off. I think this type of performance would blend in well with the DCEU.
To me, Hoechlin doesn't really look the part but he acts it well. If Snyder can just direct Henry Cavill to do something a little closer to this Henry Cavill would be a perfect Superman.

He just doesn't have a Superman face imo. That's the main negative. But because of his performance, I don't dislike him as much as I thought I would.
