I just simply adore the written word. No medium comes close to touching the wonder of the printed story.
My favourite authors are Michael Bond and Roger Hargreaves. What pray tell are yours?

Reading daily keeps me relaxed. I've noticed that whenever I'm getting stressed out and my anxiety levels are rising over little things that I've forgotten to read for a few days. Sitting down for an hour w/ a book fixes that right up =]

Agreed. I had a while were I just couldn't seem to find a book I really loved. I read many I enjoyed but it never felt urgent for me to get back to them. I'd read on a train or before going to sleep. I thought perhaps because I gotten older and had more reading experience, things just wouldn't feel as fresh and exciting anymore.
But then I read again a book that gave me that feeling. I don't even remember which one it was, but since then I've encountered several more. So it seems I was just in a kinda slump.
