I'd agree it felt a bit too long. These kind of movies shouldn't exceed the 90 minute mark as they're rarely able to keep up the initial punch and intensity that long.
I also agree with those other movies you mentioned (except
Final Girls
which really worked for me). You could also add
Gravy
,
Bloodsucking Bastards
and
Deathgasm
. 2015 has been a great year for horror-comedies, but neither of these movies have been scary since all of them have relied on the comedy-aspects.

Eh! it was entertaining, but it definitely felt about 20 minutes too long. I'm just a bit tired of all these horror comedies that take the easy route and go for more laughs than actual scares. I had the same problems with The Final Girls and Tales of Halloween, and eventhough I liked Cooties it could have had more tension/suspense aswell. Atleast the killer looked pretty cool and this movie did have some decent gore/kills and oh Boobs although I was somewhat disappointed we didn't get see the pair from the hot sheriff.

You had me at Boobs & Pancakes.
I really enjoyed this movie. Some really nicely executed lines and good production for an indie film.
