<p dir="auto">I was watching in the first season a Martian soldier telling Holden that Earthers they have this big beautiful planet and yet squander it while Martians spent their lives living under domes, theyve had to pull their resources to their military instead of terraforming.</p>

<p dir="auto">I'd add that they also despise them because they had these things and squandered them, while Martians have to struggle to build their own world.  So when Earthers take resources to feed a dying planet it's salt on the wound.</p>
