I've never seen The Tudors or Game of Thrones, but I've seen her in other movies and I've never disliked her as much as I did in this. Part of it is the writing (which is dreadful) but a big part of it is the way she plays the character: hard, combative, stuck up, uncaring, etc. But it's not just the choices she makes her performance is also pretty bad. The flashback scene where she talks to her sister while going through their dead grandmother's stuff made me cringe. Plus, they keep saying she shouldn't go in the forest because she's sad, yet she didn't convincingly act sad at all! She just acted like a snobby bitch. I definitely think she was miscast, but the material is so bad that even a perfect casting choice couldn't have saved it. I'll try not to hold this movie against her!
A lot of strange things happen in this world. Things you don't know about in Grand Rapids.

The main actress was pretty unlikable, she stunk basically.
But I've never given a movie a rating of 1 before, this one worked hard to earn it. It's terrible, so i guess Natalie's acting fit right in there. If youmhaven't watched it, trust me, don't bother.

I didn't find the actress annoying, besides the talking out of the one side of her mouth.
It was the character that I wanted to slap. Dumb as ditch water.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog

You are delusional..the only reason I watched this movie was because of Natalie Dormer. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, I think she is a great actor to boot. Get it rightthe movie sucked, Natalie was the only good thing about it.

She's mostly known for her television work in The Tudors and especially The Game of Thrones. I haven't seen this movie but it sounds interesting, though I too think she wasn't the right actress for this role. I dunno. I'll probably seek this out sometime this month and if so I'll come back to give my impressions.

facial expressions to be a cold-hearted you-know-what,
Haha. Well she does play a very cold hearted person on ToG so that could be a carry-over.
Regarding her face, I think she has a unique face. You know Angelica from the Rugrats? The cartoon character's mouth tends to be shown on one side of her face and that appears to be the same for real-life Dormer.
