I love the storyline of Gershon/Gittel in the second season of the show and I've missed it in season three. I wish there were more stories to tell about her, Rose Pfefferman and the family.
Episode 3.8 was great too and I love little Maura. It had a similar feeling to the Gershon/Gittel storyline for me. Maura's childhood is a great help to understand the character and everything that's going on nowadays.

Can you remind me of what happened to Moshe/Maura's father? We only saw him in his birth episode. I don't remember whether Maura/Mort ever mentioned her father. I've looked through all kinds of recaps and don't know why Rose was single when her kids grew up.
