I've not watched British detective dramas since…well forever (Almost) but this one caught my attention and so I gave it a spin.
Only two episodes in and it's quite the palaver, but not entirely without merit.
I think it's one which will establish a family of sorts and viewers will have favourites amongst them. Sort of like Castle but without the pacing and overly extensive humour. Or House if Gregory was a retired lady with the questionable background of Al from Quantum Leap.
It's a bit of a scraper and is almost entirely formed by ex Les Mis cast (The adults anyway). Nice warmer up for
The Thursday Murder Club
coming out late next month
Ding Dong
