these awful SyFy movies now too? Getting D list actors who were somewhat popular in the 90s and awful CGI. This looks horrendous.

yup, Animal Planet is now a certified JOKE, everyone stop watching it
It's been a joke. A joke along with the History Channel, Discovery Channel, etc, etc, etcwhen they started airing those horrid reality shows.
At least this movie knows it's bad, that's SyFy's appeal. At least they didn't try to pass some garbage off as
real
, like that stupid Mermaid fiasco. That right there may have been AP's low point.

Shannen Doherty has been in a few of those Syfy TV movies in the past. And it looks like The Asylum is involved with this movie, which is no surprise. They are infamous for their schlocky creature feature movies, as well as their mockbusters movies that have similar titles and themes to current or upcoming blockbuster movies. Some examples: The Terminators, Transmorphers, Titanic II, Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies. Plus their weird titles like Sharknado.
A couple of the creature features might deserve a C+ or B-, but most of them are D- or F's.
