Britain fought in Afghan for 12 years and Iraq for 6 years but they had to make up some conflict in Africa..why? In terms of British tv and film production they have been almost no efforts made to really utilise this experience.
Kajaki - excellent film which struggled to get made
Bluestone 42 - a comedy on bomb disposal
Our Girl - a bbc drama which is just a female vehicle
can't think of anything else
