..Like Strike Back which I also loved. Season 2 of Our Girl is 100 times cooler than Season 1. Cooler weapons, story line, Special Forces, technology.all the good stuff.
I dont understand. You have a population that is so so weapon illiterate, yet you hire the best technical directors in the world and use the best gun props and most realistic soldier and Special Forces kits. Why? You would have to BE a Special Force person to appreciate all of it.
I know a LOT about just about everything on these guys. The typical Brit knows maybe the difference between a pistol and a rifle. I can tell you the level of detail is big budget movie perfect. Better than any USA TV show and as good or better than our top movies such as American Sniper or Lone Survivor. I am so impressed.
I think it is the South African techs you hire. Those boys are sticklers for detail. Nobody knows bush warfare like the Afrikaans.
I really really enjoyed this second episode. It was like watching part of a good movie. I have a whole new appreciation for "little miss huge boobs what's her name". She looked particularly UN glamorous and filthy. I thought her acting was compelling. Not Oscar material, but better than the last girl. I NEVER thought I would say that.
She even looked like she SMELLED bad..real bad. Hard to do for such a good looking girl. But they pulled it off. Well done. Not that I like stinky girls. I dont. I just appreciate the effort of the art department here. They needed to glam her down a lot to get the viewers to buy in to her as a real Medic and soldier and overlook her obvious incredibly good looks. The red head looked even nastier. I wanted to open the door to get some fresh air in the room! LOL.
Reminds me of some of the better stuff from Strike Back.
